       so #secureboot makes my #thinkpad unbootable unless I disable it. Is my device still secure with #linux and #grub? :neofox_confused:(asking for me, an IT noob)

       @hagbard My understanding is that "Secure Boot" is a euphemism for "can only boot Microsoft certified operating systems". And apparently it's not as secure as claimed, so I don't think it's a huge risk disabling it.

       @hagbard @truls46 I agree. I do not see any significant upside for Linux users. It’s just marketing imo, and a very bad implementation actually
