@hagbard My understanding is that "Secure Boot" is a euphemism for "can only boot Microsoft certified operating systems". And apparently it's not as secure as claimed, so I don't think it's a huge risk disabling it.

@randahl Unfortunately people don't accept (or don't understand) that not voting only supports the right wing idiots. They refuse to vote because they can't find a party that matches 100% what they expect - which is a completely nonsensical expectation to begin with.

@katzenberger Stimme ich völlig zu. Mich stören aber diejenigen, die sagen sie wählen überhaupt nicht, weil sie keine Partei finden, die 100% ihrer Standpunkte vertritt. Die Rechtspopulisten mobilisieren viel stärker die Wählerschaft weil dort weniger nach Fakten gewählt wird, sondern wegen der Hetze und der Lügen.Nichtwählen stärkt die Rechtspopulisten und Rechtsextremen - etwas was die Unzufriedenen ja auch nicht wollen. Und das darf man kritisieren finde ich.

@linuxnews Meine Mutter - 87 - verwenden OpenSUSE 🙂 Ich habe ihr gesagt, die Umstellung von Windows 10 auf 11 wäre viel schlimmer (im Sinne von "alles anders") als die von Windows 10 auf Linux. Und bis jetzt kommt sie gut zurecht.
