       If one person has a million billion dollars and another has one dollar… I’m going to have a very hard time believing it’s because that one person is just a million billion times better. But hey, guess I’m just naïve that way.

       @kayeluvian I just heard on the Jon Stewart Weekly podcast that since Reagan came into power, something like $53 *trillion* from the economy has shifted from the lowest 90% of income earners to the top 1% or somesuch of investors.Like, just obscene amounts of money.Yet again and again, decade after decade, billionaire influencers will try to sell the public on it being those damn foreigners taking your jobs that are the reason you don’t have money.
