       i've been hearing "Disney movies aren't just for kids" my whole life and thought that just meant they embed jokes i'd only get as an adult. but the bigger part turned out to be that once i was no longer angsty about others recognizing me as a proper adult, i could comfortably explore -- and appreciate -- child-like themes again.

       just watched Little Witch Academia, and umph -- such an optimistic story! but still touching on some very real topics. i need more of this genre 💜
