Chess hasn’t been updated in almost 200 years and it’s obvious the devs have abandoned it. The greedy creators took your money and laughed all the way to the bank.I remember back in 705 AD when chess was fun. Then they started adding stupid features no one wanted like “castling” and “en passant” instead of listening to player feedback and fixing game-breaking bugs. I’ve been complaining for years about the collision-detection glitch with the horsey. The ‘clipping-through-pieces’ bug has been abused to death and the lazy devs refuse to fix it.Don’t support this awful behaviour and boycott this company.

@aliss I think the big problem with chess is that the player doesn't quite feel the sense of pride and accomplishment when playing, so they should include crypto-based AI-enabled web3 micro-transactions to it. The pieces could be equipped with long range weapons, cast with hasten (or slow to opponent) and have shields to deflect attacks.

@aliss Have you not seen the Japanese import version? The controls take a bit of getting used to but it has crazy good gameplay, it's where Fortnite got the drop map mechanic from. Draws are super rare, too. Worth going out of your way for.

@aliss I feel like the devs stopped paying attention to the game itself back in the 80s when it started getting multimedia attention. There was that musical, then a few movies, then that Netflix series... It's just overexposed, you know?
