       Apparently #CalTrain had a secret publicity event for the start of electric service this morning. My daughter sent me this picture of EMU plushies scraped from whatever social media apps kids use.

       Not sure what the point of a publicity event is if you don't tell anyone about it ahead of time?  Maybe they just wanted a photo-op for press and politicians without a mob of railfans.

       I want to grab a bunch of those plushes to make make an actual plushie EMU trainset.  Need two of them they are for the ends.  Each trainset has two non-cab cars in the middle?  For each of those, I could splice the rear ends of two cab-car plushies.  So I guess I need 6.  But with 4 I could make a cutified 3-car train.
