       The first generation of go-e EV chargers seem to torture their ABB contactors until failure.The one my parents have failed after about four years. The internet speculates that they turn off the contactor without telling the car to stop pulling current first.They also really hot glued ESP8266 and RFID dev boards into their product.

       But: They have a nice MQTT API and I read their hardware design improved in the newer generations.
