It's taken me 269 days to get to section 3 of Duolingo's Japanese course.Started studying with the app on November 12th, 2023. Completed all 10 units of section 1 in just a few weeks. Then spent almost all of 2024 working my way through the 35 units in section 2.I haven't been this motivated about learning in a long time. Proud of myself.

@lamp @drewhans555 All my 日本語 learning is done with only free software.I've heard reports that duolingo is almost useless unless you pretty much already know the language.

Finished section 3 unit 7.I've noticed my brain is getting faster at translating in real-time.On to unit 8 now.
