Increasingly, normal people celebrate difference, diversity, and uniqueness. Being called "weird" doesn't bother normal people, because their worldviews can handle weirdness. But "weird" is a massive problem for The Normal Ones. They *can't* be weird.Full Essay https://www.the-reframe.com/the-normal-ones/

@JuliusGoat A cellular automata simulator where different cells have different survival strategies. Each cell has two kinds of traits: 1. Diversity Tolerant (T/F)2. Identity membershipsAll cells benefit from being near cells with similar memberships, but diversity tolerant cells are buffed by the overall diversity of their region, intolerant cells are buffed by homogeneity. Inheritance simulator battles commence.Simulations don't prove anything, I think, but I'm still curious.

@futurebird interesting. What exactly you mean by "buffed" and how do cells die and be born?🤔 Maybe cells die If they are Not buffed enough and will be replaced by a copy of a neighbour? Maybe not an exact copy but a slightly different one? @JuliusGoat

@futurebird @JuliusGoat Almost sounds like you are describing Schelling's Model.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schelling%27s_model_of_segregation
