Two years ago we deprecated and later removed 80% of the legacy (pre-DT) board files in 32-bit arm kernels after determining that they were most likely unused. Time for the next round.https://lore.kernel.org/linux-arm-kernel/2831c5a6-cfbf-4fe0-b51c-0396e5b0aeb7@app.fastmail.com/T/

@arnd Aw, I see ARMv7 there and I hope that doesn’t include the msm8960. Was trying to mainline it for fun

@Logical_Error I listed ARMv7-M as something we can perhaps consider removing in a few years, not now. Those are just microcontrollers with no MMU and usually only a few megabytes of RAM.What you are thinking of is ARMv7-A, which is still shipping in billions of units and will have to be supported longer than any other 32-bit architecture. Even ARMv4T (introduced in 1997 with ARM710) isn't really on the chopping block yet, though removing older pre-thumb ARMv4 (notably StrongARM) would be nice.
