I think galling plants is the most powerful ability... though making silk is very tempting...

@futurebird I'm here for the antibiotic sweat although I don't know if I totally understand it (my thought was that it produces antibiotics for humans to use and I was thinking "maybe it will create antibiotics that there is no resistance to?" - that may be incorrect)

@LeafyEricScott @futurebird I've got to ask... What is a human superhero going to do with galls? Are they producing... human babies in galls? How many times are you going to use this superpower?

@futurebird gotta say shooting flaming chemicals from my butt because my human superpower is having a 12 year old mind in a 56 year old body.

@futurebird it's boring, but flight. We could just as easily be living in Isopod World or the Springtail-Verse if Pterygota hadn't broken the golden rule of arthropod body plans and acquired bonus appendages.

@futurebird The only advantage galls have over silk is that it's using someone else's energy to build stuff. When you're living in a gall instead of a silk sac, you know what's missing? The pride. When you look around and all you see came out of your baby sisters' butts, that means something.

@futurebird I went with silk, because so many things can be made with it. Balloons, sheet webs, funnel webs, orb webs, cob webs, tunnel linings, trapdoors, nets, diving bells, ...

@skyfaller @LeafyEricScott @futurebird advantages of incubating fetus in a tree:1: health risks to parent reduced practically to zero2: no longer need to adjust exercise or commuting habits3: much less effect on work4: would make conservatives' heads spin

@futurebird@sauropods.win making silk would be interesting. I wonder if it would be frowned upon to make clothes from your own silk

@puppygirlhornypost @futurebird hard to say. On the one hand, Peter Parker rarely gets flack for throwing webs hither and yon. On the other hand, he did make a gadget to disguise the fact that it came out of his butt. Maybe he only gets away with it because everyone thinks the gadget makes it.

@futurebird @puppygirlhornypost hm, interesting hypothesis, but no; if that, why then the gadget? There are, after all, a few spiders (mainly tarantulas) which also make silk with their feet.
