@fsf copilot and the like are probably the number one threat to free software's existence right? If they're allowed to launder code and disregard the license... is FSF planning a strategy for this?

@futurebird Everything not on earth is weird to the earthling experience, but it's also so seemingly uniform that it's hard to gauge weirdness.For example, a bilaterally symmetrical animal evolving into a radially symmetrical animal is bafflingly weird, but it is just want Starfish have done.Same goes for insects evolving wings against all odds (every other arthropod gets one pair of limbs per segment and likes it), plate tectonics (only earth seems to get this.)

@futurebird generalist species made up of specialist individuals and groups. No problem is insurmountable (and no ecosystem cannot be flattened) if you throw enough humans at it, but you can't just drop a random lone human into a random ecosystem and expect them to be successful every time.

@foone Another problem is that turning down the main volume scales down individual volumes of other apps, so if you start a new app it's going to be at an unexpected volume.
