@foone Is this something like 12" optical disks inside???I wasn't aware there was a cartridge Variant. But makes sense for everyone ever handled a 12" optical disk.

@alex WORM discs are sector-based, so you can write a few sectors and then later write more. The switch just tells the laser not to run at write-intensity

@vga256 nah. Drives for these big WORM drives are basically impossible to find. They were only used by big companies in the datacenter and they tossed them out long ago
