@TheVinylApe I revisited my Heathers DVD last week and thought this would be a good follow up, only to find the player kept rejecting the old disc I had as "wrong region" (it isn't, newish player just didn't like old disc for some reason), so I treated myself to a new version

@LordWoolamaloo You’re out near the EU right? I’ve had that happen to me a few times. Region 2 DVDs didn’t play out here, and sometimes I’d get stuck with one from a thrift or charity shop because I didn’t check it. I’d just see the cover of the movie and get so excited, I’d just buy it.I need to get out there. I think I’m gonna plan. Trip next year where I take a month and just go scouring for vinyl.

@masayuki60 Yes, I heard that, although the head of HMV recently said that there's been a big uptake on CDs, DVDs and Blu-Rays in he last couple of years. Seems more folk are figuring out streaming is ephemeral, your favourites can vanish from it, or service change, if you really love a film or series, buy the disc! It's one reason why I've never got rid of my (far too large) film library
