       If you want to play Japanese games, one low-effort high-reward thing you can do is learn Katakana.It's only 50 characters, and it's very often used for words imported from English that you can decipher.        Follow-up, a very short list of useful Japanese words that come up a lot in video games:- はい = Yes- いいえ = No- はじめ/始め = Begin- つづき/続き = Continue- おわり/終わり = End
