Of a 1h35m podcast, I've edited 35 minutes. I feel like I've got a groove down, learning the bindings in #resolve pretty well now, and getting a hang of the things. And it is, at least so far, working swimmingly on #linux

@thelinuxcast Yay! Happy to hear everything is working out for you. The Linux Experiment said in the past that Resolve was some of the most stable software he's used and I also can say the same. Once I get it running on Linux it just works. I'm looking forward to you discovering all the cool features it has.

@IronPipe I need to figure out how to do time stamps in it that I can pull out and paste into YouTube. That's my next quest.

@thelinuxcast An addendum, if the free version of Resolve can't do that or you want chapters without uploading directly to YouTube it just takes a few more steps and a spreadsheet.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qjh2WxA7W8E

@IronPipe Cool, I'll give that a look. I found one but it was quite old

@IronPipe This one is definitely more useful. The first one requires you to upload directly from Resolve.

@thelinuxcast Congratulations on Studio version. I think Resolve is legit about to change your (editing) life, lol. Editing with audio transcriptions is massive time saver for podcast and longer videos. Voice isolation is perfect if you're still having audio noise creep into recordings. So many qol features at your disposal now.
