Work burnout struggle is real,I discovered in less than a year I've been pay capped at my job, minimum wage also went up (yay for all) but my wage was not adjusted to stay competitive (boo for me.)Doing Uber deliveries on the side has been floating my budget into the black, but takes quite a bit of hours waiting around to get there.My creative gas has been on E for months, and the only way I'm gonna get the time to recover is to either win a lotto, get a significant sum in server donations, or push harder, find a new full time job, and add doordash alongside Uber in the gig work stack.The only way out is through. 😪

Seriously cheesed at my job for a pay cap, and one as low as it is. Along with not adjusting to the new min wage is just a surefire way to not retain your skilled employees that hold up your business. I helped raise up a team, and standards, developed a sense of community with my workmates, only to be financially forced to go off and start that whole relationship process again.Ugh.

@cy Yepp, in the last month I've significantly given less fucks about how the kids and kitchen operate. Once a job shows their hand and its like that there isn't much point in sticking around. I've got my eyes on a couple places, I just need to read up their menus a bit more then chat with some chefs about getting a weekend staging.
