Well, it looks like Matilda Jones, aged 7, is the new ruler of Britain, sorry I don't make the rules.

@cmconseils "“She was only waist deep when she said she could see a sword,” Matilda’s father, Paul Jones, who was with her at the time of the discovery, told the Star.“I told her not to be silly and it was probably a bit of fencing, but when I looked down I realized it was a sword. It was just there laying flat on the bottom of the lake,” he said.":)https://www.huffpost.com/entry/sword-found-in-excalibur-lake_n_59ae946ee4b0b5e53100b997

@cmconseils "While the legend might say the sword was put there by Arthur’s knight, Sir Bedivere, a man named Mark Wilkins claims it was in fact him.“I threw it in the lake in the 1980s and wasn’t expecting to see it again,” Wilkins said. He said he threw it in the lake as an offering to the Celtic gods."https://allthatsinteresting.com/truth-behind-excalibur

@cmconseils No no no no no. She just found it there. It's supposed to be distributed by a strange woman lying in the pond. Know your prophecy.

@oldladyplays @cmconseils That's the way it works today. We tell our kids not to talk to strangers (and even less to strange strangers), so the strange women have to leave the objects of power lying around conveniently so they can be found by the eligible children. It doesn't affect the legitimacy and efficacy of the hand-over (see the manual on transfer of worldly power by giving away significant artifacts).
