       Situation:1. There is a small overdraft on my bank account.2. It'll be another 5 days until my next cheque.3. I've got basic foods like oatmeal, pasta, rice, salt and sugar, plus some meatballs, fish, sauces and spices, but I'm out of bread and sandwich toppings.4. I have a NOK 300 gift card for McDonald's which should be good for about 3 meals.Not a stellar selection, but all in all, it should be just about enough.

       @thj if you but the coinoffers and just buy the basic hamburgers, you can buy like 3 at a time and that will constitute as a meal. It will make that 300 kr last a bit longer

       @engravecavedave Having been on a shoestring budget many times before, I'm aware of those items, yes. You used to be able to get a cheeseburger for NOK 10 but people caught onto it, so they bumped the price up. They're NOK 37 now. The basic hamburger is NOK 27. Three meals was a rough estimate. If a meal is two cheeseburgers, it's more like four meals. But I could also do three plain burgers, or two plain burgers plus fries.
