@thor fair enough. Currently on benefits myself and that's pretty much my situation as well. Barely have money to have a life. I come from a country where benefits are a joke so I am at least grateful that it's enough to survive on although I understand it could be better

@mjg59 I have a special hatred for UEFI specifically for this reason. Imo secure boot and all the extra "security" features forced by Microsoft on the manufacturers genuinely made it more annoying just to install anything else. Now that there's genuinely serious vulnerabilities, I feel more vindicated

@aliss I'd would personally switch Android and Linux. Android being open source technically but still having proprietary blobs controlled by a single corporatiom because monopolies are what happens in right liberterian economies and Linux distros on the left libertarian because it's multiple distros all isolated who all feel superior to each other
