It's easy to mistakenly assume that voting is support and endorsement, but the fact remains that voting in the USA is broken. Your vote doesn't do what they say it does. All voting can do is harm reduction. Vote strategically for Biden, if you don't want Trump elected. Vote strategically for Trump, if you don't want Biden elected. Your vote won't be able to support either Trump or Biden though, because people wisely vote strategically, so nobody's vote can measure support, even if your vote wasn't anonymous.If you vote for neither, you're supporting them both far more than if you vote for either of them.

@cy I don't think the "harm reduction" thing has ever been true, but it's really been shown for the BS it is now that the Dems have just gone all-in on open support for genocide and a further-right border policy than even R's have tried in the past (for starters). Not that they haven't supported genocide before, this is just the most out in the open it's been.@majorlinux

@noisenerd @cy Exactly."Harm reduction" has gotten us further and further to the Right as a country.It is also important to see that both parties would rather spend their time crying about what the other party is doing instead of actually moving a needle.No, wait, I take that back.One party is actually making changes and that's the Right because the Democrats have been absolutely toothless when fighting back.

Most people are on your side, and doing everything they can. The problem is "those other people" always end up being our bosses, so even people on your side seem like they're not. Just... don't judge someone by what their boss is forcing them to do. Work with them to free them from their boss, and suddenly the amount of bad people in the world begins to shrink dramatically.OK fine you can judge someone whose boss is "forcing" them if they're both in cahoots. Most of the time that's just not the case.
