Gonna drop the unpopular opinion, I do like the idea of something like MS Recall. Given that something is customizable, open source, and 100% local.I do rely on web browser history a lot. My browser history goes earlier than 2010. It is super useful to find websites, manuals, whatever just form a keyword I happen to remember.Being able to do this for _anything_ that showed up on my screen? I think that's insanely powerful.Would I trust big tech, or any private company to do it? Heck no. But the concept is great I believe.

@roobre there's essentially no security on it, so anything running on your pc can definitely extract the entire database and all the pictures.that is to say, if you ever have a password visible it's very likely that an adversary can find it with a simple db query. Especially now that passwords have fairly common patterns they follow.I'm also pretty sure someone found a way to grab it over a network but I can't for the life of me find the source so I'm not 100% on that
