Any #ironsworn fans out here? Just investigating and I think it would very a blast to play solo. Or maybe on VTT Foundry with my granddaughter. Looking for resources and advice. I’ve found the subreddit and am reading the rulebook. Thanks!

@birv2 Yeah, #ironsworn is one of my favorite games. Two player, co-op is my favorite way to play, so definitely try it out with your granddaughter.My advice, try it solo for a bit first. It's a common mistake when starting out to punish yourself too harshly.Besides Reddit, there is also an active Discord server. @birv2 Quite a number of us, actually. Its inheritor, #Starforged, is very likely my favorite TTRPG of the last several years – and I say that as someone who literally lives in an RPG library.#Ironsworn gets a lot of traction in my personal digital garden as you can see here:https://grimtokens.garden/References/IronswornOf particular interest is the list of pages which reference Ironsworn at the end there. The Ontology Recapitulates Phylogeny series of articles, as it stands now, is me riffing on converting some of the underlying ideas in Dungeons & Dragons into Ironsworn terms, including the very old school Classes.
