       The idea that we should earn our survival is a narrative rooted not in freedom, but in control. Universal basic income challenges this by asserting that access to basic needs isn't earned, it's a right. Let's shift the narrative. Survival amidst plenty shouldn't be up for debate.

       @scottsantens As long as #Capitalism exists, it will always sabotage any kind of #UBI so that anybody wo wants to live and not just barely survive still needs to either be filthy rich or work for money. And if UBI enables people to spend less time working and more time organising alternative ways of life which might threaten the existence of Capitalism, the rich will use their power to end it. We're not getting any kind of good life without fighting the rich. #EatTheRich
