       @jeremy_list since Xi Jinping broadly understands how Chinese economy works, his government has been busy implementing policies like dual circulation, investing into projects like BRICS and BRI, and dumping US bonds even at a loss.The kind of bailout China did to save the US economy back in 2008 is highly unlikely to happen today.

       @jeremy_list US is now openly saying that it aims to arrest China's development, and the economic war has already started. Latest US tariffs are an example of that. This can only escalate going forward.Whatever economic damage China suffers as a result of US having an economic crash have to be weighed against the damage US openly intends to do to China in the long term.The west accounts for less than 15% of global population. People have to stop thinking that it's essential to the world.
