       @robpike there are only two outcomes of software1. -it dies, either forgotten or wistfully remembered 2 -future maintainers curse your name, your design decisions and your implementation Really, death is the ultimate outcome of nearly all code (*). The only question is: how many people curse your name first?(*),vi and tex are probably immortal. Maybe excel too, sadly
