       As someone who isn't American I would like to point out that the US's problems isn't seen as a sudden fall from grace, but a deliberate series of choices that US citizens have made since at least the 1980s and probably since the Civil WarPointing that out is not being an enemy of democracy.America isn't a functioning democracy for Americans who aren't white middle class cis-het men - that's not treason, it's trying to help you see how bad things are and hoping you can save the US from itself
