People have already realized that kids flourish in positive and comfortable environments, and thus, things like corporal punishment were banned. When is society going to realize that the same principle applies to adults as well and abolish prisons and abandon the concept of punishment for misdeeds?

@Radical_EgoCom Abolishing prisons sounds like a good idea to people who probably went there a few times, but can people even abolish prisons? The police will and government will finds ways to arrest or entrap people trying to abolish prisons.Might depend on the legal system.

@Rob200 While current governments will likely resist prison abolition, broad social movements advocating for these changes can force this sentiment into reality. Abolition is a gradual process requiring societal transformation, not just legal changes.

@Rob200 @Radical_EgoCom when the quality of life in prisons becomes better than outside of it, we will start to maybe address the issue.
