#RIP Laurence Victoria Taranto Mercier (22 October 1941 - ?? April 2024), loving mother to my twin brother for sure, to me possibly but not demonstrably and not for many years (it was mutual).My dad drove here last week to spend a month in the South, she was fine and healthy for an 82 year-old. They exchanged SMSs a few days ago. When he couldn't get ahold of her Sunday he called a neighbour to check on her.She was found in her bed Monday, after a nap she never woke up from.

I'm fine. Maybe I won't be fine at some point.My twin brother is fine but he says he can't fathom things yet.I had a good and long chat with my 86 year-old dad. He's fine. I'm certain he won't be chill about this very long. He'd been planning for years to pass away first.

She, however, told my dad she preferred to pass away before him. She didn’t want to be alone, and to have to take care of the formalities.
