It is wild to me that the easiest way to check which version of Salesforce you're on, the billion dollar company enterprise product, is by refreshing and page and checking which cartoon you get. But that only gives you which "seasonal" release it is, not the actual API version.The next easiest way is to generate a WSDL and the API version is in the commented section in the generated XML file.
