@Radical_EgoCom Ok. Banish them to a desert island without food.

@tmstreet I disagree with the idea of banishing all rich people to a deserted island with no food. I support solutions that address systemic issues rather than resorting to punitive measures against individuals, such as collectivizing the means of production and wealth distribution. I don't think any solution that involves revenge will work or be effective in any way.

@Radical_EgoCom @tmstreet The damage the rich fossil fuel people have done should be punished like nazis were.

@Radical_EgoCom I was not serious but would like change that prevents the kind of excessive wealth that currently exists.

@Radical_EgoCom @tmstreet well, I remain a skeptic. Not banishing the wealthy to an island without food is like saying we tried nothing and it didn't work - we should at least explore options, maybe start with just a raft on the plastic patch in the Pacific ocean instead of an island. We're not heartless monsters, you know.

@bhasic @tmstreet Why should they? Was it effective with fascist? Are there no more fascist today? Yes, killing people in self-defense is sometimes justified, but using punitive measures to stop negative behavior has been proven to be ineffective. A combination of positive reinforcement, education, and addressing root causes of the negative behavior have been shown to be far more effective than relying on punishment.
