       I'm curious why any users want to preserve 3 years worth of their content? They post and off it goes into the activitypub slipstream. Mastodon isn't a blog or a website, but more like surfing. You surf each wave once.Pixelfed or Peertube are different in that they produce static content, but their structure allows 3-year-old content to be findable/viewable. Some users might be better off using something like https://writefreely.org/, https://dokie.li/#introduction, https://github.com/Plume-org/Plume.
