(1/4) Last night’s barbecue and potluck with members of our school Gospel Choir was a big success! I’ll share first about the homemade peach cobbler we had, which was a hit. This was a slight modification of the peach and pineapple cobbler recipe have on our family recipe website:https://food.wesfryer.com/2021/03/09/peach-and-pineapple-cobbler/Last night’s was just peach cobbler, but it was a doubled recipe. Rather than Bisquick for the mix, I used 2 boxes of “Calhoun Bend Mill Peach Cobbler Mix”

(2/4) from Walmart:https://www.walmart.com/ip/Calhoun-Bend-Mill-Peach-Cobbler-Mix-8-oz-Pack-of-6/47335240I also cooked this in my red enamel dutch oven. The steps were:1- Melted half a stick of butter in the Dutch oven (no lid) as the oven preheated to 375 degrees.2- Mixed 1.25 cups of Almond milk (I didn’t have regular milk) in with the dry cobbler mix.3- Drained 2 24 oz cans of Kirkland sliced

(4/4) but left the covered dutch oven inside.9- About an hour later when we were ready for dessert, I served the cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Here is the video version of a similar version of recipe, which I recorded in March 2021, it is 6 minutes long:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pxDhZZ1Mxo
