       If you can't think of a reason to live for yourself, you can live for others. Volunteer at a charity that you hate - you don't care about yourself, remember? So what does it matter if you have a rotten time helping others you despise.Or you could try volunteering at a charity that you like. There might be entire moments where you are outside your own head and heart, and that can feel different than the other times.If you need instant and eternal happiness without effort, yeah, why bother.
