Is it true that if two people reply to my this post from different servers they won’t see each others reply? Doesn’t that make user and community discovery really hard? How do you have emergent conversations with new people?

@rabble I don't know why you spend so much time on the Fediverse talking about how much you dislike the Fediverse. We know what you prefer instead. Please go use that and you'll be so much happier.

@gabek I talk about the fediverse and Bluesky on Nostr and the fediverse and Nostr on Bluesky. They’re all flawed but in different ways.

@rabble @gabek I personally like it when people constructively point out the flaws we still need to address as well as other approaches that we could consider. I look at all these services as a part of the fediverse because they all genuinely have the same goals.

@mike @gabek we’re all on team open. We may see direct bridges between nostr, atproto (Bluesky), farcaster, and lens but at the moment ActivityPub is the interchange protocol. I think the Mastodon / core fediverse crowd could learn a lot from the farcaster frames, Bluesky’s algorithms and composable moderation, Nostr’s diversity of kinds of social apps on the same user / data.
