       I have no clue why, but Emacs 29 pgtk on Guix is *very* fast when compared to the Nix pgtk counterpart.The notmuch email list interface is not laggy. Pretty nice UX improvement.

       Did you use the same .emacs.d state as with NixOS? The state might affect performance.
