@ProfessorCode AI is being loosely used to mean temperature and moisture sensor that is used to adjust the cooking time and heat

@BrodieOnLinux I embrace my wooden toothbrush being just a fancy stick with thin nylon cylinders attached to its end.Iʼm confident Iʼm not missing out on toothbrushes with dedicated Android app, fancy programmable moving patterns or tracking when and for how long did toothbrushing session happen.

@BrodieOnLinux that's exactly what a rice cooker should be.Mine only had one button that says COOK. I put rice, water, press the giant COOK button and it cooks.

@BrodieOnLinux Maybe after you use it long enough, it can learn to add rice, and water, then select the program/mode by itself :frog_think:

@BrodieOnLinux how intelligent is it, if it can't tell the difference between white rice, jasmin rice and brown rice, and asks the user to specify???

@BrodieOnLinux Marketers so often trick themselves into beliving they're innovators when all they're doing is combining a already existing thing they know with the newest buzzword people have been talking about a lot recently and all that results in is the exact same product but more difficult to use with more points of failure.

@BrodieOnLinux I have a similar model, snap! I'd say it was my most successful interaction with AI on a regular basis tbh.

@BrodieOnLinux For a second, I thought it would be a regular computer with an attachment to put the rice. You'd run an AI program which would spin up the CPU & GPU to heat up and cook the rice.

@BrodieOnLinux We were so busy thinking if we could that we didnt stop to ask if we should and is it needed. But the fact your rice cooker has AI label is pretty funny you can literally see its just for buzzwording since even they know it makes no sense and probably has no "AI"
