@libreleah FUTO's public stance was much worse previously, at least now they're using a new term so you can easily explain it's something different. My major issues were when they were trying to use the term Open Source and redefine it making things even more confusing.

@libreleah @squid To add to this even though modern Chromebooks have some fancy chips to ensure valid firmware, Google straight up doesn't care if you unlock it and some of the documentation for this is on the Chromium docs including a link to the schematics for the cable needed https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromiumos/third_party/hdctools/+/main/docs/ccd.md
