Now that I know I'm autistic, I even miss the person I used to be in some situations before I knew.I used to call myself a "social chameleon" - I just changed automatically to suit the circumstances.But who actually am I and what is just a mask?@actuallyautistic @actuallyadhd

       @theaardvark You’re maybe just a fortunate, socially flexible person.You are whoever you choose to be in the present moment. And if you don’t like the results of who you choose to be, you can choose different next time.Don’t overthink it. An autism diagnosis didn’t change anything about you. My late diagnosis came with this weird force that tried to make me a victim. I ignore that and focus on the fundamental things that keep me balanced.@actuallyautistic @actuallyadhd
