       Emigrant GapEmigrant Gap is a gap in the Sierras just past Donner Summit. It got it's name during the gold rush days where emigrants lowered their wagons by rope down the mountain to cross the American and Bear River drainage.Now days it's just a beautiful spot along highway 80.I captured this as the sun was going down throwing a nice orange glow on the mountains and sky.
