       Digitalisation is not just "happening", it is an intentional process, pushed by very real people with very clear motivation. It's very much like (what we now call) industrialisation. The mechanical loom or the assembly line did not just appear. They were created to serve the interest of a specific group of people to serve specific purposes. It's no difference with the tech that's currently being hyped.

       @malteengeler I agree that Digitalization is an intentional process. But contrary to the loom or the assembly line the populace does not feel the necessity of this intentional process. Furthermore a majority is actively defying knowledge and competence in this area. They deny that there is a pressure not only from above to adapt to cultural and technological change. In the medium term this will make them helpless victims of modern times.
