       Fedifriends, help me find fun sightseeing and touristy things in San Francisco that are wheelchair accessible. More context: My in-laws are visiting from the UK next week and one of them uses a mobility scooter or wheelchair (can also get around short distances on crutches). We will not have access to a car, so we have to get around by public transit, cabs, etc. They enjoy people watching, gardens, birds, hanging out in cafes, and talking to the locals. So far I was thinking they might like JFK Promenade and the surrounding museums, the Botanical Garden, and taking a boat tour of the bay. On a meta level, I don’t quite know how to research this so I’d appreciate meta tips as well.
