       Did you know that it’s actually best to put on antiperspirant (the deodorant WITH aluminum salts) on at night before bed? It trickles down into the sweat gland to block sweat in the first place. When you put it on during the day, it’s not at its most effective. As well, aluminum deodorant is safe and effective as long as you are not allergic to it.This has been fun skincare facts with gavi.

       @gavi@wandering.shop My only beef with antiperspirants are that I can't find any that don't come in plastic.  For that reason, I've used just deodorant for years. I had a similar problem finding a plastic-free toothpaste that included fluoride but I finally solved that one.  It bothers me so much that the anti-plastic-waste products also tend to be from companies who peddle antiscientific appeals to nature.
