@dragestil Funny, but I was wondering lately what was happening with this case. I think that till Sal gets a favorable verdict, she's holding back the revamping and rewrite of Giggle. I totally would understand this: I mean, why pay megabucks to developers and designers to get your women-only app out if the courts decide men in Walmart dresses and wigs can use it too. It would be the same shitty thing as HER, so why bother? So she's put the project on hold till that oily, ugly ass Goodyear blimp of a male loses. If he wins, I'd bet anything she'll pull the plug on it.Glad to see it'll start soon. And bloody nervous about the outcome, too.

@dragestil A worrying article when one reads of someone in such a damaged condition not being able to specify the sex of a carer. One commentator writes that the wish to have a same-sex carer is equivalent to racism but is well responded to by a carer called Jack Roberts. His lengthy comment is worth reading as a whole but here's a paragraph from it:"I have to say that I find it wearying that she [the disabled woman]- and Professor Lawford Smith - have to even bother raising them. I also object a lot to my work realm - which is taxing enough as it is, and hardly well paid - being put at risk of becoming the next stage upon which a few angry biological blokes decide to make their narcissistic points. There is, as always, a psychological and emotional attritional toll in just doing that. But can we just...not, this time guys? OK? Can we have the 'trans lobby' NOT 'do' the disability/care sector? Please? When you're facing the kind of inevitable decline that MS can in the worst cases bring (or trying to help someone in that struggle) - and I hope you have decades of stability and good QoL yet, Lee, good karma to you - then this sort of once-cartoonish stuff is the last thing you need added to your sh*t-tower of worries."
