A philosophy professor was commissioned to write a chapter on pronouns in an Oxford Handbook. When he finished the article he was told the invitation is cancelled, apparently because his chapter views using preferred pronoun as a courtesy, not a requirement. @Chronic-Yonic I understand and I would not engage in a private argument with that person. But public debates are worth it.That JK Rowling piece is so moderate and reasonable and more people should read it. I wouldn't say it's the majority of people that call her a bigot etc, but a loud minority.
