       I get easily distracted in a regular desktop environment, and my anxiety levels just skyrocketed lately. For my time off, I needed something that helped me to slow down and focus on just one thing. This is how "The Hermit Project" was born. It borrows two main concepts from @nina_kali_nina i.e. the creation of a distraction-free device and that we have more than enough compute power nowadays, even with pretty old/cheap hardware.1/2#freebsd #hardware #adhd #anxiety

       Basically, it's #FreeBSD 14 terminal-only, with just the essential tools I need and some scripts.It's likely to be an endless evolving project, but I might write more about it in the following weeks/months.This baby is coming with me during these season's holidays. 🇦🇹2/2
