I get easily distracted in a regular desktop environment, and my anxiety levels just skyrocketed lately. For my time off, I needed something that helped me to slow down and focus on just one thing. This is how "The Hermit Project" was born. Dear community. Since the latest iPhone sh*tshow, and I am pretty sure there is some Android not out yet, can we please create/design an open handheld for only Signal/Matrix/...? No 4G/5G calls (that is the most difficult to implement), just 4/5G data and calls over those message services only? I have some basic experience when I worked for the Ubuntu Phone, I can help with the OS level, but I have zero experience with hardware design.#openhardware #matrix #signal #phone

I always used Firefox in all my devices since ... 1995? Basically forever. But the latest development in the Mozilla foundation made me thinking about switching. I don't want to use an upstream browser like Chrome. I have @Vivaldi as a secondary browser and primary browser on my mobile. I have heard about @brave but never tried one. I value multi OS desktop/mobile experience. What are your thoughts? P.s. I would be happily go back to elinks#browser #firefox #mozilla

@stefano why am I not surprised about your in-law experience? 🙄I can't understand why and how we went from passionate (and respectful) leaders to "generic" entrepreneurs. Corporate attitude, high margins and high paycheck always existed. But at least, somehow products were always first. Back to Italy as an example, just look at fashion. Once upon a time, quality of the product made the brand famous. Now the brand is more important than the product itself. Is just pure rebranding.

I'd love to share this video about #homeless between EU and US. I was shocked in the last couple of times I went to #SanFrancisco. It was already significant when I started going to SF in the 201x, but I was astonished at how much the phenomena have increased. It was nice to hear some interesting stories from their voice. What impressed me about hearing stories in the US, is how quickly you can become homeless.No job means (most of the time) no healthcare. And bills going up and up, if you need medication or medical support. And you can't keep up with the rent, or you need to sell your house to pay the bills. That is extremely sad. It could happen to anyone without savings in literally no time.2/

It's not that in EU is not any better. At least, we have free healthcare. But it's easy to go on that path too. There are people sleeping in their car, for example, even if they work because the paycheck is not enough to afford a room.I hope that we will find a solution soon.

I decided to broadcast a test card for a short while here.It's the perfect example of state/non-state. The transmission does exist, as the frequency is occupied by the test card, but there's no transmission of actual content. Time is suspended, stuck between worlds. And you just wait for the transmissions to resume.Monitor this frequency. In case of negative, contact Lugano Tower on 120.250

Mental (and physical) rehab is the most challenging thing I ever done.I thought I had it covered.
