We can't. It's just gonna sputter along until it dies.

Frankly, I think it needs more publicity. People aren’t leaving what they have been at for years because they are just too comfortable. Minds needs that real kicker to get more people to take notice. In that same vein the crazies from the other places will take notice too.

It needs a reason to exist, a dedicated purpose to it. Right now it has been an "alternative" platform, where it exists solely to be an alternative to other social media. It isn't focused on anything in particular and only really keeps either eccentrics or the people who have found one of the few social circles that do much. There are some artist circles, a couple streaming circles, some photographers, and politicos who are more than happy to hammer every bannable topic that can be hammered. It doesn't help that the Minds app is hamstrung straight from the Play store and completely unavailable on the Apple platform. It isn't convenient to use and that's going to be the biggest poison. If you don't mind/can handle some troubleshooting then Minds isn't a bad platform. But most people do mind, and who even promotes Minds now? With Elon's changes on Twitter(X) no one really cares about any alternatives. Minds needs to be something specific if it wants to really grow, not just an alternative to something else. It has to fight the poison of inconvenience tooth and nail, and since Google and Apple are not likely to relent Minds must become something so good an unique that people will actively seek it.

I didn't know Minds needed to be "saved". I can get far better engagement here than Gab. I've been looking at accounts of regular people (not celebrities or E-celebrities or professional disinformation agents) on Twitter. It doesn't look like Twitter offers better engagement for regular people than Minds. In fact, the easy and cheap cash boosting on Minds enables average users to get more engagement than they could get on Twitter.

Certainly not the value it used to be. Probably lots of bot views. Saying that the quality of interaction is far better than on other sites. I've had things go viral on twitter but with likes, the comments were pitiful.

Not bleeding money sounds like a good thing in this context?
