I heard they already walked that back and said they'd still add new game patches. It's absolutely retarded. I just got a year-old top tier Ryzen (from a friend who bought too much shit lol) and it's got an RDNA2 integrated GPU which would've lost support. Not that I'm using it, but I could.. it's not bad at all. But anyway AMD drivers suck and the Linux open-source ones are better anyway.

Great question here, how do you make a temporary buff (potion etc) meaningful not not OP?Tim's short answer: buff hard and buff short.I like that (no homo!)If you need extra oomph to overcome one specific hurdle, you want a buff that takes effect immediately and lasts long enough for at least one attempt but not much longer.If you need to keep using it to get through a boss fight, maybe you need to level up instead.Should buffs be cumulative?I say yes, I'm all for OP buffs, up to a point.I don't mind Dragon's Dogma's system - you can use the same one up to 4 times for maximum effect (200%) and you can keep using them to maintain the buff, til you run out of consumables (which are semi rare/expensive).This avoids cluttering up your inventory with light/mid/high/extra strength versions of each potion.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ylo85VL_Mvw

As for crafting... there'll be no picking herbs and no tedious cooking minigames. It's a vampire RPG, the logical main ingredient is blood... measured in pints, buckets, barrels, bathtubs and pools. There may be other alchemickal resources (like leyline energy) but we could build a whole system around blood alone. The crafting mechanics I have in mind are more about adjusting recipes and creating your own.
