Who is into making homemade herbal tea blends? @mouseybear Santa Mouse got me a whole set up to make my own herbal blends! I have a rough idea of what ingredients do what (ie, chamomile for sleep), but I'm not sure about ratios on the blend.

@Tjunta @mouseybear I'm familiar with all of these. Ask away. If you're specifically looking for a sleep blend, be sure to include some valerian. Not too much, though, as it tastes like poo, which is why you usually find it encapsulated as an extract...which I can also tell you how to do. Hmu...

@Tjunta @mouseybear Amazing! 😍 Looking forward to your final blend recipes. When I'm adding to my infuser or satchel, I just pinch a little of everything I need after three "pinches" of my main base herb...which is not a reliable recipe or ratio at all, I understand lol

@Vox @mouseybear Ok so for night time how about Valerian root, chamomile...maybe lavender? Then for morning I was thinking about blending in some herbs with our Earl Grey loose leaf. Say...mint, turneric, and cinnamon?

@Tjunta @mouseybear I'd personally cycle my lavender and chamomile. they don't taste great together. a touch of real vanilla will set off your chamomile very nicely. I'd honestly suggest you just grind and encapsulate your valerian. Dear Light that shit tastes awful! If you're looking for energy in the morning, I'd try a cup of guayusa or yerba mate. Mint might be a nice pick-up, too, but tumeric is an all-day thing (goes great with milk thistle), and cinnamon is most effective after eating.
